On YouTube, you’ll need to create and verify a YouTube channel, if you don’t already have one. So, what do you need in order to play a Hangouts On Air gig? First, you’ll need a Google account, which allows you access to both Google+, where the event will be hosted, and YouTube, where the replay will be located after its completion. In addition to being streamed live, the show is also automatically uploaded to YouTube upon its conclusion, so it can continue to be enjoyed by both old fans and new for years to come.

The obvious limitation in this, however, is that only a relatively small number of people out of the world’s population will to be close enough to the show to be able to get there and see you play, no matter how well you advertise.
